Day 26 - OpenCloud and Collabora: another quiet Sunday upgrade
We moved OpenCloud toward rolling 8.0.1 and bumped Collabora CODE, with the usual Sunday backup habit, so Cloud stayed online for day-to-day work.
Sunday upgrades are boring on purpose. Late September we moved the Cloud stack again: OpenCloud on the rolling line into 8.0.1, Collabora CODE on the 26.04 series, plus small fixes so office files and sync keep behaving.
What we did
- Bumped OpenCloud through 7.5 into 8.0.1 on the rolling images we already run.
- Updated Collabora Online (CODE) so document editing stays on a current 26.04 build.
- Kept the habit: snapshot before recreate, volumes untouched, cutover when traffic is low.
Why it is on the blog
Readers use Cloud for real folders, not for our changelog. A calm Sunday bump is part of the product: EU hosting only works if the stack stays current without drama.
For you
No action if the web and apps already open. If something looked odd that weekend, contact us. Day-to-day files stay at cloud.km0digital.com.
More from the blog
- Day 29 - One KM0 login: Keycloak for Cloud web, desktop, and mobile Cloud in the browser, the OpenCloud desktop client, and the mobile apps now share the same KM0 sign-in. Why we moved, what to do, and links to the new tutorials.
- Day 28 - A cleaner front door for public HTTPS We put a reverse proxy in front of the public edge so TLS and routing sit in one place, with a maintenance path ready, while Cloud URLs stayed the same.
