Day 16 - Masnou meetup: AI, bureaucracy, Harari, and Palantir
We announce the 10 July meetup at Bar Pekin (El Masnou): continuing day 14's conversation on AI in bureaucracy, inspired by Harari, and discussing Palantir as a real-world example.
Introduction
After publishing day 14, where we summarised Yuval Noah Harari's video on how artificial intelligence enters human bureaucracy, we want to continue that conversation in person. On 10 July 2026 we meet at Bar Pekin (Palacio de Pekín) in El Masnou to talk about AI in bureaucracy and the company Palantir as a concrete case.
This is not a closed talk or a corporate event: it is an informal KM0 community meetup. Bring questions, your own reading, and a willingness to debate. Details are also on the meetups calendar.

Topic
From Harari to Palantir
On day 14 we summarised Harari's thesis: civilisation works through bureaucratic systems (law, finance, records) and AI can learn to operate inside them at a scale no human could match. That conversation stayed open. Now we take it to the table with two axes:
- AI in bureaucracy: what it means when algorithms read, write, and decide inside procedures that used to be human; what risks and opportunities we see from KM0.
- Palantir: the company that connects massive data with governments and large organisations. We are not here to advertise or demonise: we want to understand what model of «augmented bureaucracy» it represents and how that contrasts with local, community-controlled infrastructure.

Why KM0
The same question at small scale
Harari speaks about global civilisation; KM0 works with PTAs, neighbours, and SMEs. The question is the same: if tomorrow's bureaucracy speaks fluently with AI, do you want that conversation on servers you control with your community, or on opaque platforms that monetise every form?
The meetup does not promise final answers. It does promise an honest conversation, with concrete references and no «AI expert» posturing.
